  Shallwani was told that Usmani era's documents and historical written heritage were preserved at Ottoman Archives of Presidency.

  Administrator and Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani on Friday said that Turkey had preserved historical documents of Usmania era through modern techniques. Ottoman Archives of Presidency of The Republic of Turkey agreed to train Pakistanis this art which is welcoming. The institution showed the process of preservation of old manuscript and in principle agreed to train individuals from Pakistan to master that art. This will help us in preserving our written heritage indigenously, the Administrator passed these remarks in a meeting with Ottoman Archives of Presidency Vice President during his visit to Turkey. Shallwani was told that Usmani era's documents and historical written heritage were preserved at Ottoman Archives of Presidency. He was assured that the institution agreed to train Pakistanis and it would be honour for them. The Administrator expressed gratitude to Ottoman Archives of Presidency and said that Turkey has vast history including Usmania era. He said that it was the prime duty to transfer the asset to upcoming generation and Turkey is doing this job in excellent manner. Meanwhile on directives of Administrator and Commissioner Karachi Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation's Director General Parks Taha Saleem and Senior Director Municipal Services Syed Salah ud din visited Istanbul's Isbak, the transport management company to understand the smart transport system and to support Karachi transportation on the same lines Both officials of KMC viewed modern transport engineering model introduced by the company in Istanbul. The company's officials briefed the KMC representatives and offered to train Pakistani engineers. They said that smart transport system is the basic need in the modern era which have been introduced in many developed countries including Turkey. "Smart transport system could resolve transport woes in a densely populated city like Karachi," they added.
